ELEVATION 2009
It is a pleasure for me to invite you to be part of the first climb toward a cure fund raising event to benefit Lupus research and treaments.
I have recently taken a very personal interest in this illness as my wife is diagnosed with this puzzling and frustrating disease. As we turn onto this new and difficult path in our journey together, we labor to find help and relief. It is clear that I am not the only man who's wife carries this dis-ease. ELEVATION is born out of this struggle to find ways to support, to ease, to encourage.

So-
ELEVATION 2009
has normal and minimal operating costs that make it happen. The ten dollar registration fee helps to cover these expenses.
The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) will receive 100% of all proceeds of this event. No portion of any climber sponsorships will be used for the cost of operating this event.
I am privileged to be authorized by the LFA as a partner to host ELEVATION on behalf of the estimated 1.5 million Americans afflicted with lupus.
